They were honored with this award for their innovative idea and practical application, which aims to provide dental care through a mobile platform, making it easier to access services in remote areas that lack permanent medical centers.
The "Mobile Dental Unit" is an innovative concept that integrates technology and engineering to deliver comprehensive healthcare services in a more flexible and effective manner, enhancing healthcare delivery in communities. The team developed this project after months of dedicated work and precise planning, creating a fully-equipped mobile unit with state-of-the-art medical technology to treat dental patients, which greatly helps reach patients in underserved locations.
The team was honored by Engineer Fathi Afana, the ambassador of engineering, which highlights their excellence in the field of medical engineering and their creativity in providing innovative solutions to improve healthcare.
