On the occasion of the third anniversary of the team’s founding, the RCM Engineering Team held a gathering this Thursday morning, May 5, at the Children's Happiness Park Center - Gaza Municipality, bringing together team members from different universities.
Eng. Abdullah Abu Ishaq, the team leader, opened the meeting with a welcoming speech, congratulating the members on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr and discussing the team’s goals and its founding since May 5, 2019.
The team also had the honor of being visited by Eng. Yahya Al-Sarraj, the head of Gaza Municipality, who welcomed the team, got to know its members and achievements, and expressed his admiration for their efforts and activities.
Due to the diversity of the universities and specializations of the members, a fun introductory activity was held to promote networking and interaction between team members from different universities and disciplines.
The team leaders from the various universities played a significant role in introducing the members to their respective teams. Eng. Walid Alyan spoke about Al-Azhar University, Eng. Duaa Tabash represented Islamic University, and Eng. Asil Awkal spoke on behalf of University of Palestine, while Eng. Sara Yaeesh represented An-Najah University from Nablus via the internet.
Next, Eng. Walid Alyan and Eng. Hala Hamid gave a presentation on freelancing, covering the process of learning skills, registering on freelancing platforms, and guiding members towards opportunities in this field.
With an energetic atmosphere, the day ended with various cultural competitions aimed at exchanging information and enriching the members’ cultural knowledge.
